Medical Detox

Medically Assisted Detox

Before the intensive work of residential treatment can begin, Discover Recovery offers safe, comfortable, medical detox support to those who need it.

Drug and alcohol medical detox are critical first steps in recovery, yet fear of withdrawal is one of the biggest obstacles to helping those in need. At Discover Recovery, we assist clients in drug and alcohol detox.  We help them overcome their fear, safely and comfortably.

The first few days of detoxification are often the hardest, but we provide a safe and comfortable medical environment.  We want to support our clients to minimize the risk of leaving treatment or relapsing. Our Holistic Treatment track offers support, new coping techniques, and integration into recovery – in the real world.

Addiction Treatment with

Compassion

When an individual arrives in our drug and alcohol detoxification program, our professional and caring staff will provide a full medical evaluation. If detoxification services are required, they’ll begin a personalized and medically supervised drug and alcohol detox program.

Our medical staff monitors each client around the clock for safety, comfort, and the reduction of withdrawal symptoms.

As the body heals from substances, a person’s mindset will change and recovery will become easier.  That’s one reason we believe effective treatment starts with a compassionate medical detox.

Through our treatment programs, we keep our clients safe and comfortable as they withdraw from drugs and alcohol.

Alcohol Detox Stabilization

Alcohol detox can be fatal. We take every precaution to ensure that each client is properly assessed by qualified medical staff. After completing a medical assessment, clients are provided medication to minimize withdrawal symptoms and treat symptoms that could lead to tremors, seizures, or blackouts.

Is Medical Detox Necessary?

Detoxification from alcohol or benzodiazepines can be fatal.

No one should undergo alcohol detox or benzo detox alone or at home.

Please contact us today if you or a loved one are struggling with alcohol addiction or a drinking problem.
